Technology Activation Assistant

Contract: Permanent, full time

Responsible to: Technology Activation and Innovation Manager

 

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven graduate to join one of the most exclusive out-of-home TV broadcaster networks in the UK and soon to be international. C-Screens play a vital role in delivering top-class TV content and advertising campaigns across some of the largest UK landowner’s inventory and help brands and agencies to achieve their ambitions.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start his/her career  in traditional/linear TV, Connected TV and Out-of-Home TV advertising channels in that order and gain practical experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the department head and assist in designing and activating audio-visual and advertising technologies at prestigious UK sites, ensuring audiences are entertained and engaged.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day CScreens Video Player user feedback and troubleshooting
  • Build and configure Cplayer Video Player system
  • Assist in executing the roll-out plan of CScreens Video Player
  • Support the building and improvement of AV racks
  • Set up AV systems for pop-up events and permanent screens
  • Provide day-to-day support to sales and adops teams on client technical questions
  • Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal teams
  • Monitor the Video Player system
  • Coordinate the company’s day-to-day IT inquiries with the IT department
  • Conduct site surveys to evaluate activation requirements and prepare documentation
  • Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations and customer communications

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • University/college STEM degree preferred or equivalent related experience
  • Travel to various client locations with occasional overnight stays
  • Presentable, polite, and well-mannered with good communication and client-facing skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • UK Driving license is a plus and open to nationwide travel within the UK
  • Passion for technology and a desire to work with digital signage solutions
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions carefully
  • Previous experience in product installation, particularly in a technology or IT-related role is preferred
  • Good general understanding of PC hardware/software configurations and visual connections
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and project requirements
